魏助教らの研究論文 Top Cited Articleに

魏助教らの研究論文が、Pathology International のTop Cited article 2021-2022 に選出されました。卵巣癌症例に対し、臨床病理学的解析を行い、卵巣癌の組織因子発現が静脈血栓塞栓症の発症に関わること、腫瘍内リンパ球浸潤の程度が組織因子発現と相関することを明らかとした研究内容です。

山下篤教授の総説が2023年1月4日にPathology Internationalオンライン掲載されました。病理学会学術研究賞（A演説、2021年、岡山）での講演「血栓症の発症に繋がる血栓の発生および成長機序の解明」に関するものです。

魏助教らは癌関連静脈血栓塞栓症の剖検例を病理学的に検討し、血栓内には癌細胞が存在することを明らかとしました。それに加えて、それらの細胞が血栓関連因子（組織因子、ポドプラニン等）を発現していることを証明した論文が、米国心臓協会（AHA）の発行する Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology 誌の2023年1月号に掲載されることが決まりました。
