内田先生の論文がJournal of Diabetes Investigationに掲載されました！

内田先生の論文”Frailty and low body mass index as key determinants of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor-specific adverse event-related discontinuation in adults aged ≥75 years: A multicenter real-world retrospective cohort study”がAsian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD)機関紙であるJournal of Diabetes Investigationに掲載されました。

本研究は、75歳以上の高齢者におけるSGLT2阻害薬の忍容性を多施設リアルワールドデータで検討し、SGLT2阻害薬は概ね忍容性が保たれる一方、フレイルと低BMIが有害事象による治療中止の重要なリスク因子であることを明らかにしました。高齢者へのSGLT2阻害薬導入において、生理的予備能を考慮した個別化医療の重要性を示す研究です。
